With a background in paediatric nursing, Julie Anne Grasso spent many years literally wrapping children in cotton wool. Every day she witnessed courage and resilience from the tiny people she cared for, which inspired her to write stories to entertain them.
A self-confessed science fiction nerd, (she even owns a TARDIS) and cupcake enthusiast, Julie is a middle grade author (ages 8-12) of The Adventures Of Caramel Cardamom Trilogy and Frankie Dupont Mysteries.
She lives in Melbourne, is hoping someone will invent an apple/cinnamon/peanut butter cupcake, and is also the proud owner of a Little Free Library to encourage literacy in all walks of life.
Julie is also one half of the indefatigable Middle Grade Mavens, a podcast by middle-grade authors, about middle-grade books.
She holds a current “Working With Children Check” issued by The State Government of Victoria, Australia.
